English as a second language

English as a Second Language Classes

Our English as a Second Language classes are designed to help adults, families, workers, students, and new Americans strengthen their English-speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills in a supportive and respectful environment.

The program helps participants build confidence for everyday life, employment, school communication, business, citizenship preparation, community involvement, and personal independence. Classes may include conversational English, workplace English, basic grammar, pronunciation, reading comprehension, writing practice, and practical lessons for real-life situations such as speaking with teachers, doctors, employers, banks, government offices, and local businesses.

Founded with an understanding of immigrant families and the value of language access, this program welcomes individuals from all backgrounds who want to improve their English while learning more about American life, communication, and opportunity.
